As part of their ACT Early campaign, the Counter-Terrorism Policing team have developed three new ‘Letters to my Younger Self’ films aimed at young people, all of which are now available to view on the ACT Early website (we shared the first of these films through the Digest last month).

The new films tell the stories of John, who fell into the extreme right-wing through social media and was helped through Prevent; Michael, who became involved with Islamist extremism and tragically lost his life; and Mustafa, who followed multiple radical clerics and is now a spoken word artist working within the NGO sector.

We would encourage you to share these films through your own networks as appropriate. To help support any outreach, CTP have updated their promotional toolkit, which contains some blurb around the stories, and suggested social media copy. You can find the toolkit here: https://www.counterterrorism.police.uk/actearlyrealstories/.

Further assets are also available at the wider ACT Early toolkit and at CTP’s social media feeds:
